Overview We are seeking two passionate and dynamic Lead Teachers for Pre-Kindergarten and Infant/Toddler classrooms to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging environment. In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, develop age-appropriate curricula, and collaborate closely with families to support each child's growth and development. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that promote literacy, math skills, social-emotional growth, and physical activity for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Lead daily classroom activities, ensuring a positive, inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and independence. Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies that support emotional regulation and social skills. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships. Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and assessments using standardized testing tools when appropriate. Skills Extensive experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool, daycare, or private school environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Proficiency in teaching physical education, literacy education, math instruction, and early intervention strategies tailored for young children. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners through clear verbal and written skills. Experience with special education needs and implementing individualized plans for children requiring additional support. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety at all times. Pay:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
