Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate, reliable, and warm Pre-K Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will lead a classroom of young learners, creating a supportive space where they can grow socially, emotionally, and academically. Whether you are an experienced educator or looking to grow your career in early childhood, we provide a collaborative community that helps you succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Creating and implementing engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with Michigan Early Childhood Standards. Build a safe, inclusive classroom environment focused on positive social-emotional development. Maintain open, friendly communication with families regarding their child's daily progress. Ensure full compliance with MiLEAP child care regulations.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is highly preferred but not required.
Experience:
Previous experience in a licensed child care center or preschool setting is a strong plus.
Skills:
Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine love for working with young children.
Requirements:
Ability to pass a comprehensive state-mandated background check and fingerprinting.
