Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Free Pre-K for ALL (GSRP) Assistant Teacher and play a vital role in fostering a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. In this paid position, you will support lead teachers in delivering high-quality early childhood education, ensuring each child's developmental needs are met through active participation and classroom support. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with preschool standards and curriculum goals. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping maintain a safe, organized learning environment. Engage children in literacy activities, math exercises, and hands-on learning experiences to promote early childhood development. Provide individualized support to children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism or other developmental challenges. Help facilitate classroom routines such as circle time, snack time, transitions, and outdoor play to ensure smooth daily operations. Collaborate with teachers to develop tailored curriculum activities that meet the diverse needs of students. Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and classroom events. Skills Strong understanding of early childhood education principles, including childhood development and preschool teaching strategies. Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, private school settings or similar educational environments. Knowledge of behavior management techniques and classroom management assistance. Familiarity with special education practices and experience supporting children with disabilities or autism. Ability to assist with lesson planning across subjects such as literacy education, math, and Montessori or other specialized curricula. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, parents, and team members. Technical proficiency with educational tools, classroom technology, and curriculum development software. Demonstrated experience working with young children from diverse backgrounds and abilities. Pay:

$15.50 - $19.25 per hour
