Preschool Teacher

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. The ideal candidate will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth. You will be responsible for fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom where children can explore, learn, and thrive. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while working collaboratively with families and colleagues to support early childhood development. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards and incorporate literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management strategies. Engage children in hands-on activities that promote cognitive development, fine and gross motor skills, and social interaction. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings, reports, and daily updates. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times by maintaining a clean, organized classroom and adhering to mandated reporting laws for child welfare concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to plan special events, assessments, and interventions such as early intervention or special education support when needed. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans, and progress reports while ensuring compliance with licensing regulations. Experience Prior classroom experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings is required. Demonstrated knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices. Experience developing curriculum content across multiple domains including literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and social-emotional learning. Familiarity with classroom management techniques to foster positive behavior and engagement among preschool-aged students. Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and community partners about child progress and welfare issues. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training in mandated reporting laws is essential. Experience working with children who have special needs or require early intervention services is highly desirable. Join us in shaping the future by providing young children with the foundational skills they need to succeed!
