Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans focused on literacy, math, social skills, and early childhood development. Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and guiding children through routines and activities. Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, meals, nap times, and transitions to ensure safety at all times. Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that complies with educational regulations and safety standards. Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns about their child's well-being. Use educational technologies and computers to support interactive learning experiences for children. Collaborate with teachers to develop individualized support plans for children with special needs or disabilities, including those with autism. Skills Experience working with young children in classroom settings or childcare environments. Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and classroom behavior management techniques. Familiarity with special education practices, literacy education, math instruction, and early childhood curriculum standards such as the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to supervise children safely while demonstrating patience and nurturing care. Understanding of educational compliance regulations and safety protocols including first aid and CPR certification. Proficiency with educational technologies and computers used for early learning activities. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is highly desirable. Proven ability to proofread educational materials and mentor new staff or volunteers as needed. Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
