Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a safe and stimulating environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, while promoting their physical, emotional, and social development. Duties Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among children. Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, and nap time for younger children. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to play and learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive team atmosphere. Stay informed about early childhood education practices and participate in ongoing professional development. Qualifications Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, babysitting, or classroom environments is preferred. Knowledge of toddler care, infant care, and early childhood education principles is highly desirable. Strong behavior management skills to effectively guide children's interactions. Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and parents alike. A nurturing demeanor with the ability to respond sensitively to children's needs. Flexibility to adapt activities based on children's interests and developmental stages.
