Conduct ongoing assessments of child development through observations and standardized testing to tailor instruction to individual needs. Foster strong communication with parents and guardians by providing regular updates on children's progress and addressing concerns promptly. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation related to child welfare and safety protocols. Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum activities, organize classroom materials, and support school-wide initiatives. Lead classroom activities that promote early intervention strategies for children requiring additional support or special education services. Skills Extensive experience working with children in early childhood or preschool settings, including toddler care and daycare experience. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, classroom management strategies, and early intervention practices. Proficiency in curriculum development across various subjects such as literacy education, math, and Montessori methods. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Ability to manage classroom dynamics confidently while fostering a nurturing environment conducive to learning. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety procedures including first aid and CPR certification. Experience implementing standardized testing tools and tracking progress in preschool or private school environments.
