Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Preschool, Infant, and Toddler Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will foster a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children from infancy through preschool age. Duties Develop and implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to infants, toddlers, and preschoolers that promote literacy, numeracy, social skills, and overall development. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence while adhering to health and safety standards. Manage daily classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and activity transitions with patience and professionalism. Utilize behavior management strategies to foster positive behavior and address challenges constructively. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates. Maintain accurate records of child development progress, attendance, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom activities, and special projects aligned with early childhood education best practices such as Montessori or other pedagogies. Experience Prior experience working directly with children in a daycare or preschool setting is required; experience with infants through preschoolers is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of child development principles and early intervention strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development tailored to early childhood stages including literacy education and math concepts. Proven ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment. Experience working with children who have special needs or require individualized support is advantageous. Strong communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional credentials in childhood education or Montessori methods are a plus.
