Crystal Springs, MS Job Details Part-time From $8 an hour 6 days ago Benefits Employee discount Qualifications CPR Certification Safety regulations Child Development Associate Certification Full Job Description Infant Care Teacher We are seeking a nurturing, dependable, and attentive Infant Care Teacher to provide a safe, loving, and engaging environment for infants. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood development, understands the unique needs of infants, and is committed to supporting each child's growth through responsive caregiving and age-appropriate activities. Responsibilities Provide attentive and responsive care to infants, including feeding, diapering, soothing, and maintaining nap schedules Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes healthy development and exploration Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage sensory, motor, cognitive, and social-emotional development Maintain consistent daily routines while responding to each infant's individual needs Observe and document children's developmental progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of classroom materials, toys, bottles, and sleeping areas Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and center policies Supervise infants closely at all times to ensure their safety and well-being Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to maintain a positive and supportive team environment Comfort and nurture infants with patience, care, and positive interactions throughout the day Qualifications & Skills Previous experience working with infants in a childcare or daycare setting preferred Knowledge of infant development and appropriate caregiving practices Ability to multitask and manage a structured infant classroom routine Patient, compassionate, and dependable with a genuine love for children Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift, carry, and move infants and classroom equipment as needed CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain) Must meet all state licensing requirements for childcare staff Preferred Qualities Warm and nurturing personality Team-oriented mindset Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to build trusting relationships with families and children
