Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childcare Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant educational environment. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help lay a strong foundation for children's lifelong learning and well-being. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to the developmental stages of preschool and toddler-aged children, incorporating literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods when applicable Lead daily classroom activities that promote active learning, creativity, and social interaction among children Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and consistent routines Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and foster collaborative relationships Ensure safety and well-being by adhering to all mandated reporting laws, health protocols, and first aid/CPR procedures Support children's individual needs through specialized interventions such as early intervention strategies or special education accommodations Maintain accurate records of child development milestones, attendance, assessments, and lesson plans to support ongoing evaluation and reporting Skills Strong knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings with classroom management expertise Proficiency in curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and childhood welfare Ability to implement behavior management techniques that promote positive social skills and emotional regulation Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Certification in first aid and CPR; experience with standardized testing or assessments is a plus Knowledge of Montessori methods or experience teaching physical education enhances your versatility as an educator Join us in shaping the future by providing a nurturing environment where young children can thrive!
