Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant team at either location as a Childcare Teacher and become a vital part of creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. In this role, you will inspire curiosity, foster development, and ensure the safety and well-being of children from infancy through preschool age. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in young children Supervise children during play, learning activities, meals, nap times, and outdoor excursions to ensure safety at all times Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage respectful interactions and self-regulation among children Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns in a professional manner Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that supports learning and safety standards Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any signs of abuse or neglect according to legal requirements Apply child development instruction techniques to support individual needs, including those with disabilities or special educational requirements Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols such as first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, and infection control procedures Experience Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare settings is highly preferred Experience working with children across different age groups including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective teaching strategies for young learners Hands-on experience with behavior management techniques and classroom management tools Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with disabilities is a plus Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members in a collaborative environment Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, or related health safety training is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification required upon hire Join us to nurture young minds in a lively environment where your passion for teaching makes a lasting impact!
