Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the developmental and emotional needs of children in our care setting. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children of various ages, from infants to preschoolers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, experience with children, and a genuine passion for fostering growth and learning. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while working in a supportive team environment. Duties Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure safety and engagement Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and learning Provide basic caregiving tasks such as feeding, diapering, and dressing children Manage behavior using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques Assist with potty training and other developmental milestones Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in accordance with health and safety standards Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and needs Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities as necessary Administer first aid when required and respond promptly to emergencies or health concerns Collaborate with team members to plan daily routines and educational programs Experience Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, preschool, or classroom environments is highly desirable Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or children with special needs is a plus Familiarity with behavior management strategies and classroom organization Certification in first aid and CPR is required within 90 days of employment Physical and TB test must be obtained prior to employment Criminal background check must be obtained prior to employment Demonstrated ability to work well with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with parents and team members This role is vital in supporting the growth, safety, and well-being of children while fostering their curiosity and love of learning.
