In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers. Your leadership will inspire young learners through innovative curriculum development, individualized child development instruction, and effective classroom management. You will serve as a key advocate for children's welfare, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth while maintaining strong communication with families. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the foundational years of a child's life. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early literacy, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning tailored to infants and toddlers Provide high-quality childcare by ensuring safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environments that support child welfare and development Manage daily classroom routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and sensory activities with patience and professionalism Utilize behavior management techniques to guide positive social interactions and address developmental challenges effectively Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws by documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare promptly and accurately Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management strategies, and assessments using standardized testing where appropriate to monitor developmental progress Qualifications Prior experience working with children in early childhood education settings such as daycare centers or preschools Strong knowledge of childhood development principles specific to infants and toddlers Experience developing curriculum that incorporates literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and behavior management strategies Familiarity with special education needs and early intervention practices for diverse learners Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional credentials in childhood development or early childhood education preferred Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and uphold child safety standards consistently Classroom experience demonstrating effective classroom management and lesson planning skills Join us in shaping the earliest stages of children's lives by providing compassionate care combined with innovative teaching practices.
