Job Description

Job Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant, Toddler, or Pre-K Teacher! In this dynamic role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored to the developmental needs of young children. Your passion for early childhood education will inspire curiosity, foster growth, and support families in their child's formative years. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children's lives while working in a collaborative and supportive setting. Duties Develop (preferred) and implement (required) age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, social-emotional skills, and physical development aligned with early childhood standards. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play. Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, circle time, and hands-on learning experiences tailored to infants, toddlers, or Pre-K students. Utilize effective behavior management and classroom management techniques to foster positive behavior and social skills. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child development progress. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention practices to support children with diverse needs (preferred). Maintain current certifications such as First Aid and CPR to ensure safety at all times. Experience Prior classroom experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings highly preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and/or willingness to learn. Experience with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies is a PLUS and acknowledged by starting pay. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures for early learners and assessment tools for monitoring progress is a PLUS and acknowledged by starting pay. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Experience working with children requiring special education services or early intervention programs is highly desirable. Background in child welfare practices and knowledge of mandated reporting laws is essential. Pay:
$16.50 - $20.00 per hour
