About This Role We are seeking a warm, patient, and energetic Young Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Brookline, NH. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where infants and toddlers up to 18 months can explore, learn, and grow. You will design age-appropriate activities, foster social-emotional development, and build strong partnerships with families to ensure each child thrives during this critical stage of development. What You'll Do Plan and implement a creative, play-based curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of young toddlers. Provide a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independent learning. Support toddlers through daily routines including diapering, meals, and naptime. Observe and document each child's progress, milestones, and daily activities to share with parents. Maintain open, positive, and professional communication with families and team members. Teachers have the flexibility to use their own creativity to create lesson plans based on pre-selected school wide themes and are provided a monthly budget for materials. We offer paid planning time and professional development assistance. Requirements Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred. At least 1 year of experience working with toddlers or infants in a licensed childcare center. Ability to meet New Hampshire child care licensing requirements, including a criminal background check and fingerprinting. Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them upon hire. Exceptional patience, stamina, and communication skills to engage effectively with young children and parents. Nice To Haves Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education. Familiarity with New Hampshire Early Learning Guidelines.
