Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director for our Daycare and Preschool program to join our vibrant educational community. This pivotal leadership role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with educational regulations, and fostering a nurturing environment where young children can thrive. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for early childhood development, strong management skills, and strategic vision to support both staff and families. Duties Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement curriculum plans that promote holistic childhood development aligned with educational standards. Lead and supervise teaching staff, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and professional development facilitation in early childhood education practices. Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing schedules, classroom assignments, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment for children. Oversee budgeting processes, manage financial resources effectively, and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to childcare and preschool services. Coordinate fundraising efforts and community outreach initiatives to support program growth and sustainability. Develop strategic plans to enhance program quality, expand enrollment, and foster positive relationships with families and community partners. Ensure adherence to all policies regarding special education law, childhood development standards, and school legal regulations while maintaining high standards of educational excellence. Qualifications Proven experience in school administrative leadership, preferably within early childhood or K-12 education settings. Strong background in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and classroom experience in early childhood education. Demonstrated success in managing budgets as an executive education administrator along with personnel management in educational environments. Knowledge of educational compliance, regulation standards, including special education law and childhood development guidelines. Excellent management skills with the ability to supervise school staff effectively while fostering teamwork and professional growth. Skilled in public speaking, community engagement, strategic planning, fundraising, and school administrative functions. Prior experience in school legal knowledge, faculty evaluation processes, instructional leadership in education settings, and working with diverse student populations is highly desirable. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
