Child Development Associate Certification Full Job Description Lead Toddler Teacher:

We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher with leadership abilities who is able to control a classroom but also show compassion and a genuine interest in the job. Teacher will create lesson plans based upon curriculum and themes, create projects and activities that are developmentally appropriate for age group. Responsibilities also include interacting with parents, writing weekly reports, diapering, cleaning, reading, preparing lesson plans, activities, and projects based on weekly themes, and fostering a fun, safe environment for staff and children. Must be able to work independently and as a team. Must be able to lead classroom and encourage a comfortable and safe environment for children. Must show leadership abilities. Must be able to multitask, stay organized, and follow all state and COVID guidelines. Experience required, college credits, CDA/equivalent preferred for teacher positions.

CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL ARE ESSENTIAL TO THIS POSITION.

Hours may vary but will likely be ~9-4 M-F. Must be flexible. Extra hours are possible in the future, and long term position available for the right person.
