Job Description

Mt. Lakes Country Day School is looking for an Assistant teacher in our Toddler classroom. There are between 18-20 children, ages 18 months-3 years old. You work as part of a team of 2 with another assistant, giving the classroom a ratio of either 1:5 or 1:6, depending on the day. It is a very rewarding job and we have the lowest teacher to child ratios in the area. Our teaching assistants engage in simple activities with the children that are developmentally appropriate, i.e. table top & floor activities, reading, art projects, etc. Position is 2-5 Days/Week, 3:00-6:00PM.
