Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and support the developmental growth of our youngest learners. Your energetic approach and expertise will inspire children to explore, learn, and thrive during their critical early years. As a leader in the classroom, you will collaborate with families and staff to ensure a safe, engaging, and enriching experience for every child. Duties Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to toddlers and infants, focusing on early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones Lead daily classroom activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth in young children Supervise children attentively, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times in accordance with child supervision standards Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about each child's progress, behavior, and needs to foster strong partnerships Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety regulations Use behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions and emotional regulation among children Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of children's development and incidents Skills Proven experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings Strong knowledge of childhood development instruction, infant care, toddler care, and classroom management techniques Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), pediatric first aid, and child safety protocols Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs; knowledge of special education practices is a plus Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively while fostering a nurturing environment Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and childcare licensing requirements Classroom experience in daycare centers or similar early childhood programs; experience in nannying or babysitting is beneficial Demonstrated ability to lead a classroom confidently while maintaining high standards of care and supervision Join us as a Lead Toddler Infant Teacher where your energy fuels children's curiosity!
