Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages, including infants and toddlers. This role requires a commitment to fostering childhood development through engaging activities and providing support to children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities. Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children in your care at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Provide infant care, including feeding, diapering, and comforting. Offer toddler care by engaging in play and educational activities that support their growth. Assist children with daily routines such as meals, naps, and personal hygiene. Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Implement behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions among children. Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs. Skills First aid certification is preferred to ensure the safety of all children. Experience working with people with disabilities is highly valued. Strong background in toddler care, infant care, and overall childcare practices. Teaching skills that facilitate effective learning experiences for children. Proven experience in babysitting, nannying, or caregiving roles. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones. Familiarity with classroom experience or daycare settings is beneficial. Ability to manage behaviors effectively while promoting positive social interactions among peers.
