Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team! In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with children, support their learning experiences, and collaborate with experienced educators to ensure every child feels valued and supported. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans focused on early childhood development and classroom management Supervise children during indoor activities, outdoor play, mealtimes, nap times, and transitions to ensure safety at all times Support children with their personal care routines, including diapering, toileting, and hygiene practices in accordance with health guidelines Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote social skills, creativity, and cognitive development Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Follow mandated reporting laws to identify and report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly and appropriately Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that encourages learning and safety Skills Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings Certification in first aid and CPR (including pediatric first aid) to respond swiftly to emergencies Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Strong classroom management skills to guide behavior positively and effectively Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to handle caregiving tasks such as infant care, toddler care, and general supervision with patience and enthusiasm Understanding of childhood development milestones and age-appropriate teaching strategies Knowledge of mandated reporting laws to ensure compliance with legal requirements in safeguarding children Join us in making a difference every day by nurturing the next generation! Pay:
