Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a vital leader in creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for infants and their families. Your expertise in child development, classroom management, and caregiving will inspire young learners to explore, grow, and thrive. As the Lead Infant Teacher, you will oversee daily classroom activities, mentor assistant teachers, and foster strong communication with parents to ensure each child's unique needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Duties Lead daily classroom routines for infants, including feeding, diapering, nap times, and age-appropriate activities that promote developmental milestones. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and individual child needs. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and caregiving staff to ensure high-quality care and educational practices. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by adhering to health, safety, and sanitation protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through meetings or written updates. Observe and document each child's growth and behavior to tailor activities that support their emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare while fostering an inclusive environment that respects diversity. Skills Proven experience working with infants in a daycare or early childhood education setting with classroom management expertise. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, infant care practices, and behavior management techniques. Excellent communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration. Ability to supervise children safely while demonstrating caregiving skills such as diapering, feeding, and supervising playtime. Knowledge of early childhood education curriculum development tailored for infants and toddlers.
