Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will lead classroom activities and foster a nurturing environment that promotes the holistic growth of infants. Your leadership will inspire both children and staff, ensuring high-quality care and education that lay a strong foundation for lifelong learning. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a safe, stimulating space where young children can thrive. Duties Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans tailored to infants' needs, incorporating curriculum development principles and early childhood education best practices Lead classroom activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in infants Utilize the Brightwheel app to track progress and communicate with parents effectively Collaborate with colleagues to create inclusive strategies for children with disabilities or special needs, ensuring equitable access to learning opportunities Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques and conflict resolution strategies Childcare routines such as feeding, diapering, nap schedules, and physical activities like teaching physical education suitable for infants Maintain detailed records of each child's developmental milestones, health information, and individualized plans in compliance with licensing standards Provide guidance and mentorship to assistant teachers to uphold high standards of classroom management and instructional quality Skills CDA Required Extensive knowledge of childhood development theories and early childhood education practices Strong curriculum development skills with experience in lesson planning for infants Proficiency in parent communication Experience working with children Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners Skilled in classroom management techniques that foster a safe, respectful learning environment Demonstrated conflict management skills to handle challenging behaviors effectively Skills necessary for detailed documentation, progress reports, and instructional planning Knowledge of behavior management strategies aligned with early childhood best practices Join us as a Lead Infant Teacher where your enthusiasm for early childhood education will inspire young learners every day!
