Head Teacher - Toddler (2-Year-Old Classroom) About the Role Apple Tree Day Care Center is looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Head Teacher to lead our 2-year-old toddler classroom . Our toddler program is filled with curiosity, laughter, and incredible growth. Every day, children are learning to communicate, build friendships, become more independent, and explore the world around them. We are looking for a teacher who is excited to guide children through these important milestones with patience, creativity, and joy. This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with toddlers, understands that every child develops at their own pace, and believes that meaningful relationships are the foundation of learning. What You'll Do Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where every child feels valued and supported. Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences through play, exploration, music, movement, art, and hands-on activities. Support children's language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Guide toddlers as they develop independence, learn routines, and navigate big emotions with patience and empathy. Observe children's progress and communicate regularly with families. Collaborate closely with assistant teachers and school leadership to create a positive and supportive classroom environment. Foster strong partnerships with families built on trust, communication, and respect. We're Looking For Someone Who... Is passionate about working with young children, especially toddlers. Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice. Experience planning engaging classroom activities and managing daily routines. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred (or working toward one).
