Part-Time Childcare Staff Oswego YMCA The Oswego YMCA is looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic individuals to join our Childcare team! This part-time position is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and creating a safe, fun, active, and positive environment for kids and families.

Schedule Weekdays:

9:00 AM•12:00 PM 4:00 PM•7:00

PM Saturdays:

9:00 AM•12:00 PM Part-time hours with some flexibility based on program needs Responsibilities Supervise and actively engage with children in a safe and welcoming environment Plan and lead fun, age-appropriate activities and play Provide friendly and professional customer service to parents and families Maintain a clean, safe, and organized childcare space Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow YMCA staff Follow all YMCA safety procedures and childcare expectations Qualifications Previous experience working with children is preferred Friendly, patient, dependable, and enthusiastic Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to multitask and stay engaged in a busy environment Must be comfortable actively supervising and interacting with children Availability during weekday evenings and Saturdays is preferred Additional Information CPR/First Aid certification preferred; training opportunities may be available YMCA Child Abuse Prevention training is required after hire Additional YMCA-required onboarding and training must be completed Join Our Y!
