The Lead 2's Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom experience for our 2-year-old program. This role includes planning daily activities, fostering independence, and building trusting relationships with both children and their families. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans focusing on social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. Provide hands-on sensory and play-based experiences that support curiosity and creativity. Guide children through daily routines, including snack, transitions, toileting/diapering, and cleanup. Foster positive interactions, encourage cooperative play, and model respectful communication. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress and experiences. Collaborate with assistant teachers, staff, and school leadership. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing standards. Qualifications Previous experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children required. High school degree and/or coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred. Strong classroom management and organizational skills. Warm, nurturing, and patient personality. Ability to collaborate with colleagues and engage families. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
