We are seeking motivated individuals to help us meet our mission of providing quality child care in a safe and fun environment. We are looking for reliable, self-motivated team players to join us! This job is for a
LEAD INFANT TEACHER.
It has a fixed weekly schedule with a lunch break each day.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide a safe and fun environment for the infants at our center
  • Implementing curriculum and lesson plans for infants in a daycare setting
  • Ensure smooth daily operations in the classroom
  • Monitor and supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety at all times
  • Hold, play with, talk to, and read to children
  • Feed infants
  • Follow daily routines such as mealtime, nap time, and diaper changes
  • Supervise assistant teachers and floating teachers in your classroom
  • Clean as needed
  • Ensure that your classroom is in ratios per
NYS OCFS
regulations
REQUIREMENTS
CDA with two years experience OR Associates Degree (or higher) with one year childcare experience OR be currently working towards a CDA/degree with at least two years childcare experience
  • Be able to sit on the floor to play with children, talk with/to the children, and want to spend time with infants
  • Show up for scheduled shifts so the center can remain in compliance with NYS regulations
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Positive attitude
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as a team
  • Friendly personality and willingness to interact with parents during pickup/drop off
  • Two references, at least one must be an employment (supervisory) reference
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of curriculum development for infant care is beneficial
