Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Lead Professional to join our early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for toddlers anes 2-3. Your expertise in child development, classroom management, and curriculum development will help foster a love of learning during these formative years. As a leader in our program, you will guide and mentor assistant teachers, communicate effectively with parents, and ensure compliance with all safety and educational standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives while working in a dynamic and supportive setting. Responsibilities Develop and implement age/dev.-appropriate curriculum focused on early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional learning for toddlers. Lead daily classroom activities that promote physical activity, cognitive growth, language skills, and emotional well-being. Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques to create a safe and respectful environment. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality instruction and classroom management. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns using clear and compassionate communication skills. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols. Maintain accurate documentation of lesson plans, assessments, and child development progress using standardized testing methods when appropriate. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management strategies. Experience working with children with special education needs is helpful Certification in first aid and CPR is helpful; ongoing training in health and safety standards is highly valued. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and community partners. Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, or other specialized teaching methods. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare is essential. Ability to lead a classroom confidently while fostering an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning styles. HS diploma/GED, CDA credential or college degree in related field, helpful Join us as a Toddler Lead Professional to inspire young minds during their most critical developmental years! Hours 830-530
M-F Pay:
$13.00 - $17.00 per hour
