MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Ohio Teaching License
• Preschool Certified and Special Education Preschool Certified or willing to obtain Certification within the first two (2) years.
• Teaching Credentials to meet the requirements of the Third Grade Reading Guarantee are preferred
• Possess much patience for and enjoyment of children
• Ambitious, high energy person
• Ability to maintain professional conduct, appearance and manner
• Organized individual with ability to use initiative and creativity in stimulating student learning
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to encourage active participation of students and to maintain an effective learning environment
• Excellent classroom management techniques

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience as an Elementary Preschool School teacher
• Experience in working with special needs students
• Familiar with and capable of utilizing computer applications to enhance instruction
• A desire to affect change in the lives of children
