Job Description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture the youngest learners in our early childhood education program. In this vital role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional growth, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will help foster a love of learning in toddlers while supporting their individual developmental needs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the crucial early years of a child's life. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that encourage exploration, creativity, and foundational literacy and math skills for toddlers Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that supports physical, emotional, and social development Engage children in activities that promote language development, motor skills, and early childhood education principles Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, needs, and milestones Conduct ongoing assessments of child development to tailor instruction and support individual growth Maintain accurate records of daily activities, attendance, and developmental observations in compliance with licensing standards Requirements Prior experience working with young children in a classroom or childcare setting is essential Knowledge of child development stages, early intervention strategies, and childhood welfare practices Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment Ability to develop engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards for toddlers Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child safety protocols including first aid and CPR certification Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Experience with preschool teaching, special education, or private school environments is a plus Demonstrated ability to implement literacy education, physical education activities, and standardized testing where applicable Passion for early childhood education with a focus on toddler care and developmental instruction Join us in shaping the future by providing young children with the nurturing guidance they need to thrive. Pay:
$14.95 - $15.30 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
