Responsibilities Lead engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth for preschool children Supervise children closely to ensure their safety and well-being at all times Implement curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards and individual needs Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and milestones Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies As a floater, assist in various classrooms as needed, providing flexible support to ensure smooth daily operations Requirements Prior experience working with young children in preschool, daycare, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development instruction and age-appropriate activities Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) including pediatric first aid training Familiarity with special education practices and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Ability to follow mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Classroom experience demonstrating effective classroom management and behavior management techniques Passion for early childhood education and creating a nurturing learning environment This role is ideal for energetic individuals committed to fostering the growth of young children through engaging activities, compassionate supervision, and collaborative teamwork.
