Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant II Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored specifically for infants in the second stage of their first year. Your expertise will inspire young learners, support their growth, and build strong relationships with families. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the earliest stages of childhood development while working in a dynamic, supportive setting committed to excellence in early childhood education. Duties Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curriculum focused on infant development, including literacy, motor skills, social-emotional growth, and early intervention strategies. Lead daily classroom activities that promote exploration, learning, and safety for infants in the Infant II stage. Manage classroom routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and sensory activities with patience and professionalism. Monitor and document each child's developmental progress using standardized testing methods and child welfare best practices. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's milestones, behavior management strategies, and classroom updates to foster strong partnerships. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment aligned with health and safety standards. Mentor assistant teachers and support staff to uphold high-quality childcare standards while encouraging professional growth. Requirements CDA or ECE education must pass background check must be 18 yrs or older Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, particularly with infants or toddlers. Knowledge of childhood development principles, including special education needs and early intervention techniques. Strong skills in classroom management, behavior management, lesson planning, and curriculum development. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training in child welfare laws is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.. Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality at all times. Demonstrated commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments that support physical education, literacy education, math concepts, and overall child development.
