Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Childcare Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children of various ages. Your energy and enthusiasm will help foster growth, curiosity, and development in young learners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on children's lives while gaining valuable experience in childcare and early childhood education. Responsibilities Supervise and engage children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills Support classroom routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions among children Provide basic first aid when necessary and follow health and safety protocols diligently Collaborate with lead teachers and caregivers to plan educational activities tailored to developmental stages Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and daily experiences Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying roles is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR is strongly recommended; willingness to obtain if not already certified Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities is a plus Strong classroom experience or childcare background demonstrating patience, creativity, and reliability Ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a nurturing environment Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and engage with families Join us in creating joyful learning experiences for children!
