Hours:
Monday-Friday 9:00AM-6:00PM Huntingdon Children's School is a family-owned, nature-based preschool located on 4 beautiful acres in Abington, PA. Our program is rooted in exploration, connection, and responsive caregiving. We are a team of dedicated educators who value nurturing relationships, child-led development, and meaningful early experiences. We are currently seeking a compassionate and attentive Infant Teacher to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Infant Teacher is responsible for creating a calm, safe, and nurturing environment for children ages 6 weeks-14 months. This role focuses on responsive caregiving, supporting developmental milestones, and building strong, trusting relationships with infants and their families. You will be responsible for caring for up to 4 infants at a time, ensuring each child receives individualized attention and support.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, individualized care for up to 4 infants Follow feeding, sleeping, and care routines based on each child's needs Support early developmental milestones through play, interaction, and sensory experiences Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment Complete daily logs and communicate regularly with families Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care Incorporate outdoor time and nature-based experiences when appropriate
Qualifications:
Experience working in a preschool preferred Experience working with infants preferred Strong understanding of infant development and caregiving practices Patient, nurturing, and responsive demeanor Ability to manage the needs of multiple infants at once Strong communication skills with both staff and families Must meet all state licensing requirements (or be willing to obtain them)

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$14.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
