Job Description
About us Hearts 'n Hands Childcare is a Christian childcare and preschool located in Hatboro, PA looking for caring, creative, and enthusiastic teachers to join our team!
Duties:
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational goals and prepare children for kindergarten
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Lead and supervise classroom activities, ensuring engagement and participation from all students
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents and administrators
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, upcoming events, and any concerns
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
