Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants. Your primary goal will be to support each child's developmental milestones through engaging activities, attentive supervision, and compassionate care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives while fostering their growth and curiosity from the very beginning. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including sensory play, motor skills, and social interaction Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to infant learning and comfort Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to ensure a secure setting for children Observe and document developmental progress, adjusting activities to meet individual needs Collaborate with team members to plan curriculum activities that support childhood development standards and best practices Adhere to mandated reporting laws and ensure compliance with licensing regulations related to childcare and early childhood education Qualifications Prior experience working with infants in daycare centers, preschools, or similar childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management, and classroom management strategies Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid is required or obtainable upon hire Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with early childhood education principles, childhood development stages, and daycare regulations Ability to supervise children actively while maintaining a warm, caring demeanor Previous nannying or babysitting experience working with young children is advantageous Join us in creating a joyful learning environment where infants feel safe to explore and grow! Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
