Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves planning and implementing educational activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in preschool-aged children. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents regarding their child's development. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a supportive community. Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience for children. Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness while ensuring all materials are safe and accessible. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or as a nanny/babysitter. Knowledge of special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Proficiency in classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly learning environment. First aid certification is preferred to ensure child safety. Ability to create engaging activities that cater to diverse learning styles and needs. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience in caregiving roles that demonstrate patience, empathy, and nurturing qualities.
