Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will create engaging learning experiences, support children's developmental milestones, and foster a positive classroom atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young learners and contribute to their foundational growth in a caring environment. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills. Manage classroom activities with a focus on behavior management and classroom organization to ensure a safe, inclusive space for all children. Engage in child development instruction, tailoring teaching strategies to meet individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong home-school connections. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental progress and inform lesson planning. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure adherence to health and safety standards such as first aid and CPR certifications. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and implementing best practices in early childhood education. Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is essential. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, childhood development, and behavior management strategies. Experience working with children requiring special education or early intervention services is highly desirable. Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration. Familiarity with classroom management techniques, including behavior management and classroom organization. Knowledge of childhood development principles, preschool teaching methodologies, and the use of standardized assessments. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional qualifications in early childhood education or preschool teaching are preferred.
