Engage children in literacy education activities that encourage language development and early reading skills. Maintain detailed records of each child's progress, adhering to mandated reporting laws and confidentiality standards. Facilitate hands-on learning experiences that incorporate Montessori principles or other child-centered teaching methods. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's development, milestones, and classroom activities to promote family engagement. Qualifications Experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management best practices for toddlers is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and families. Prior experience teaching preschool or toddler-aged children is preferred but not required.
