Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Worker to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster positive developmental experiences for children across various age groups, from infants to preschoolers. You will play a vital part in supporting children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through structured activities and compassionate caregiving. Responsibilities Supervise and care for children in a safe, clean, and stimulating environment, ensuring their well-being at all times Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, including play-based learning and educational exercises Maintain classroom organization, manage behavior effectively, and ensure adherence to safety protocols in compliance with mandated reporting laws Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing inclusive care aligned with best practices in special education Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and potty training for infants and toddlers Keep detailed records of children's activities, developmental milestones, and incidents while maintaining confidentiality Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare settings or preschool environments is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education strategies is essential Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a strong plus Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR (First Aid) is required; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are advantageous Classroom management skills combined with patience and adaptability are critical for success in this role Previous nannying or babysitting experience demonstrating responsibility for young children's safety and well-being is valuable Familiarity with mandated reporting laws ensures compliance with legal requirements related to child protection Join us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners! Pay:
$10.50 - $12.50 per hour
