Bastrop, TX Job Summary:
Heroic Hearts Academy is seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Child Care Worker to join our team. This position is responsible for helping create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, communicates well with families and coworkers, and is committed to providing quality care.
Essential Duties:
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Assist with implementing age-appropriate educational and recreational activities. Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom and play areas. Assist children with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and rest periods, as needed. Communicate professionally with parents, guardians, and team members. Follow all childcare licensing standards and center policies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience working with children is preferred but not required. Must be dependable, patient, and have a positive attitude. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Must successfully complete all required background checks and meet state childcare requirements.
