Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating children, ensuring their safety and well-being in a supportive environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, including infants and toddlers, and requires a strong understanding of childhood development and behavior management. The Childcare Provider will work closely with families to create a positive experience for both children and parents. Duties Supervise and engage with children in a safe, nurturing environment. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Provide care for toddlers, including feeding, diapering, and comforting. Assist children with daily routines such as meals, naps, and personal hygiene. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging social skills and emotional growth. Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques. Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized childcare space, ensuring safety standards are met. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive childcare program. Qualifications Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or babysitting. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development milestones. Familiarity with first aid practices; certification is preferred. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Strong skills in toddler care, infant care, teaching, and caregiving. Ability to manage behaviors effectively while promoting positive interactions among children. Excellent communication skills to engage with both children and parents effectively. A nurturing attitude combined with the ability to set appropriate boundaries for children's behavior. Relevant certifications or training in childcare or early childhood education are advantageous.
