Little Learners Hillsboro | Hillsboro, TX Full-Time | Monday-Friday Little Learners Hillsboro is looking for a dependable, caring, and motivated Early Childhood Classroom Teacher to join our team! This position will work with children between 1-3 years old. Final classroom placement will be determined based on experience, strengths, and the best fit for our program. Responsibilities Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Supervise and actively engage with children throughout the day Follow classroom routines, curriculum, and lesson plans Lead age-appropriate learning activities and play Assist with meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, and daily care Maintain a clean and organized classroom Communicate professionally with families and coworkers Follow Texas Child Care Licensing requirements and center policies Work cooperatively with administration and other teachers Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Must be at least 18 years old Must be able to pass all required background checks Dependable with consistent attendance Patient, caring, and comfortable working with young children Able to meet the physical demands of working in a childcare classroom Willing to complete required training Preferred — Not Required Previous childcare, preschool, or early childhood experience CDA or early childhood education/training Current CPR/First Aid certification Previous childcare experience and certifications are a plus, but they are not required. We are willing to train the right person! Little Learners will provide required training and CPR/First Aid certification. Team members who are interested in building a career in early childhood education will also have opportunities to continue their education, earn additional credentials, and grow within the field through our program.
