This involves planning and leading age-appropriate activities, fostering social and emotional growth, and monitoring their physical and cognitive progress. They also communicate with parents about their child's development and needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum and Activities:
Planning and implementing daily activities, lessons, and playtime that align with early childhood development principles.
Social and Emotional Development:
Encouraging positive interactions, conflict resolution, and emotional expression.
Cognitive and Physical Development:
Providing opportunities for exploration, learning, and physical activity.
Basic Needs:
Ensuring children's basic needs are met, including feeding, diapering, and comfort.
Classroom Management:
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
Parent Communication:
Keeping parents informed about their child's progress, activities, and any concerns.
Collaboration:
Working with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning experience.
Professional Development:
Staying updated on best practices in early childhood education through training and professional development.
