Childcare School-age teacher/Bus driver: Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Daycare Teacher/Driver to join our vibrant early childhood education team. This role combines nurturing classroom instruction with responsible transportation to ensure a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for young children. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support childhood development, including preschool, toddler, and infant care. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of all children during indoor and outdoor activities. Transport children safely to and from the daycare facility, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Assist with behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions among children. Administer basic first aid when necessary and communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress or concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to support individualized care plans for children with special needs or disabilities, including those requiring specialized education or caregiving approaches. Qualifications high school completed Proven experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or classroom setting. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in safe toddler care transportation preferred. Certification in first aid and CPR; additional training in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Strong classroom management skills combined with compassionate caregiving abilities. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
