Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Infant Afternoon Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for infants during the afternoon hours. Your dedication will support the developmental needs of young children, fostering their growth through play, learning activities, and attentive supervision. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, cognitive, and emotional development in infants Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences Follow all health and safety protocols, including first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid procedures Support classroom management by establishing routines that foster independence and positive behavior Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent care practices and adhere to early childhood education standards Document developmental observations and participate in ongoing training related to childhood development and special education needs Experience Prior experience working with infants in a daycare center or preschool setting is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education principles Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus Familiarity with classroom management techniques, behavior management strategies, and mandated reporting laws Childcare experience including nannying or babysitting that involves infant care is valuable Certification in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, or related health safety training is required or highly desirable Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members while maintaining professionalism Join us to inspire young minds during their formative years!
