We are Little Oaks Early Learning Academy, a Christian, faith-based program within a Fresh Impact Church. We are looking for a full-time Lead Toddler Teacher, Lead Infant Teacher, Assistant Teacher, and Floating Teacher in our Early Learning Center. We wish to create a happy family-like work environment and encourage a positive educational environment for children eight weeks through PreK. Teachers will facilitate curriculum and daily schedules and supervise children while motivating them to use their fine and gross motor skills, which will exercise their imagination and development. Responsibilities Follow and implement provided curriculum for the students and use creative learning to stimulate growth. Provide consistency with work attendance so the children can depend on the same teacher daily. Provide primary care and caregiving activities to a broad range of preschool ages. Use various teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing, etc.) to enhance the child's abilities. Evaluate children's performance to ensure they are on the right learning track. Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on their children's progress. Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action using positive reinforcements. Collaborate with other colleagues and be a team player. Adhere to teaching standards and safety regulations as established by Texas. Be comfortable implementing faith-based Bible lessons to the students throughout the day. Always speak to the children in a kind, loving tone to positively nurture their development. Skills Proven experience as a child care/daycare teacher is a plus but optional. Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods. Methodical and creative in teaching ability. Patience, flexibility, and a deep love for children. Strong communication and time management skills. Certificate in first aid and CPR.
