Job Overview We are looking for a enthusiastic, compassionate Toddler Teacher who shares our love for Christ to join our team! Toddlers are at an amazing stage of life—full of curiosity, rapid growth, and endless energy. As our Toddler Teacher, you will guide these little explorers through sensory play, early learning activities, story time, and foundational social skills, all while modeling Christlike love, patience, and kindness.

Responsibilities Implement our pre-built, age-appropriate curriculum focusing on early language, motor skills, social growth, and simple faith lessons. Provide attentive toddler care, ensuring safety, comfort, and engagement during daily activities. Lead daily activities including circle time, storytime, creative play, and outdoor play. Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management strategies, fostering a respectful and inclusive environment. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any concerns, building strong home-school partnerships. Maintain accurate documentation related to child development instruction, assessments, and mandated reporting laws. Work collaboratively with co-teachers and administrative staff to support overall center operations and team goals. Ensure compliance with Utah State Childcare Licensing; health and safety regulations. Experience 2-3+ years prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education or daycare settings is essential. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management tailored to toddlers. Knowledge of childhood development principles, standardized testing methods for early learners, and Montessori or preschool teaching methodologies is preferred. Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children while maintaining professionalism and sensitivity. Familiarity with child welfare policies, mandated reporting laws, and best practices in childcare is required. High school diploma or equivalent (CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education/related field preferred but not required).
