Infant Room Teacher

Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Room Teacher, where your enthusiasm and dedication will foster a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for our youngest learners. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding infants through their critical developmental stages, ensuring each child feels loved, supported, and engaged. Your expertise in infant care and early childhood education will help lay a strong foundation for their future growth and learning. Duties Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that promotes emotional security and curiosity among infants. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that support physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. Monitor and supervise children at all times to ensure safety and well-being. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and daily experiences. Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures, to respond effectively to emergencies. Maintain detailed records of children's developmental progress, attendance, and daily routines. Collaborate with colleagues to plan classroom activities and ensure adherence to early childhood education standards. Experience Prior experience working with infants in a daycare center or preschool setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of child development instruction principles specific to early childhood stages. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus. Demonstrated classroom management skills in a childcare environment. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare. Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid, is required or willing to obtain upon hire. Proven ability to communicate effectively with parents and team members while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
