Job Overview Old Dominion Animal Health Center (ODAHCenter) is seeking a dedicated canine professional to be Assistant Supervisor of it's elite doggie daycare program. Our ideal candidate is a mature, responsible, reliable, caring individual who is actively pursuing a career working with dogs and people, and has the professional and personal attributes essential to maintain the outstanding level of care and service our Capital Canine Club clients expect and deserve. Training will be provided. About Us ODAHCenter is a premier, all-inclusive animal care center. In existence since the 1970's, we offer state of the art veterinary care as well as top-notch boarding, bathing, and grooming services. Since January 2013, we have proudly added a very special doggie daycare program. Unlike most doggie daycares in our area, CCC was designed by one of our region's most experienced and respected canine trainers and behaviorists, and our daycare staff is trained in animal behavior theory, basic canine training concepts and techniques. Requirements Commitment to positive canine care, management, and training HS diploma or equivalent Ability to perform heavy lifting as required (up to 50 pounds), and stand/move for extended periods of time. 1-year professional experience managing/training non-personal dogs 1-year experience working in a team environment with leadership responsibility. 1-year client service experience. Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills Preferred (in addition to above) Associate or bachelor's degree Professional certification (e.g.

CPDT-KA, CDBC
